scarletinked thiagoghisi GergelyOrosz Pivot was process improvement, but didn't change the incentives. The real problem was the manager support layer. Adding more mechanisms doesn’t create better SDMs. They need better people skills (and good models). 10 years, 6 teams, 11 managers at Amazon. YOLO

scarletinked thiagoghisi GergelyOrosz Also insist on highest standards was really easy to abuse (like frugality). They both can be used to block action. Then the blockee must prove themselves and the blocker can move the block around at will. Insist on MY standards (and frupidity)
