VicVijayakumar Here there be dragons. Microsoft moved Windows SE to the India campus. This reduced line item costs and core team distractions, but also increased regressions and knowledge fragmentation. Some fixes were legit terrible, and none were great.Permalink On twitter.com

VicVijayakumar This was back after XP shipped, The core team was a victim of success. QFEs were needed for all the win9x migrations. And win2k support. And BillG focus was on Longhorn, which was basically rewriting everything. Tough to balance priorities…On twitter.com
